Mr Lennard recently ran a competition to find History Ambassadors, which was also linked to the house competition. Every student who wanted to enter had to write a piece about their favourite monarch, considering details such as when they reigned, what they did during their reign and whether they were seen as a hero or a villain. Lots of fabulous entries were received and the history department was very impressed! Everyone who submitted a piece of work was given a certificate, and a number of students across Years 7 and 8 were awarded an ambassador badge.
Well done to the following Year 7s and 8s: Marina M, Chloe B, Alfie T, Kyra T, Seren W, Waisea D, Erin H, Owen A, Tabitha D, Poppi S, Jack S and Amelie C who were all awarded a History ambassador badge in a mini ceremony with chocolate took home the points in Year 8. Well done to all involved!
Below are some examples of the work produced.
