Northgate’s School Council have had a busy year this year but are always willing to step up and help our local schools. So when Grove House Infant and Nursery asked if we’d help at their Summer Fair again this year, our students jumped at the chance. It is a great opportunity for our students to support one of the UET schools and interact with the children and their parents, along with helping them raise money for their own projects within school. The weather was great and the fair was very busy. Students helped on the cake stall, jolly jars, refreshments, raffle and games. Once again they were a real credit to Northgate.
Two weeks later it was time for a different group of School Council members to support King’s Park Infant’s summer fair. This time they helped with the teddy tombola, cakes, lolly game and three students even did face painting.
A big thank you to the students involved and to both schools for inviting us to attend and support the fairs. Another example of the great relationships and partnerships we have across the UET schools. We look forward to working with both schools again next year.
