In the event of snow or other severe weather closing the school, the following will happen:
If bad weather overnight means the school is not going to open at all, an announcement will be made on local radio stations and on the Norfolk County Council website. A text will also be sent home by the office and an announcement will be placed on the home page of our website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
If bad weather during the day means that the school has to close early, pupils will be notified and told to contact their parents. (School phones will be made available.) The school will remain open, and pupils supervised, for those unable to go home. Buses will run as normal wherever possible. Again, a text will also be sent home by the office and an announcement will be placed on the home page of our website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
Keep up-to-date by checking the Norfolk County Council’s ‘Closed Schools’ website and by listening to the local radio stations.
